For those of you who haven’t read the newsletter (which can be found here), allow me to summarize what this is.
In this thread, each member may post 3 nominations of what they believe to be some of the best posts on each of ID’s sites. At the end of the month, that admins will look through your selections, choose their best and send them to Mizz/Zinnos who will in turn choose the best of the best. The top posts will be honored in the next issue of the Immortal Darkness Newsletter.
A couple of instructions. We realize that not everyone reads the entirety of the site which is why we’re asking for every member to participate, in order to get the full range of the site. You may nominate 3 posts throughout the month (doesn’t have to be all at one time). You may not, however, nominate one of your own posts.
Also, there are a few rules surrounding this process that must be taken into account. Violators will lose their right to participate in the contest.
1) You may not talk to the staff about their decisions in regards to what post was chosen as the winner. Nor may you ask them when the decision will be announced. Essentially, do not harrass the judges.
2) There will be no lobbying or deals for nominating posts. Members should choose posts based on the skill demonstrated, not because they may have been asked by the author.
